Born and raised in West Bengal, India, Amit did his PhD from Bose Institute, Kolkata, in March, 2014, and spent the next two-and-a-half years at the Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Prayagraj, India, as a post-doctoral fellow. In October, 2016, Amit moved to UK to do a second post-doc at the Swansea University, UK, and worked there till March, 2019. After a short third post-doc in the Warsaw University, Poland, Amit returned to India in September, 2019, as an Assistant Professor at IIT Palakkad. Currently he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, IIT Palakkad, and leads the Correlated Complex Quantum Systems group. His research interests include quantum information theory, quantum many-body systems, open quantum systems, and quantum thermodynamics.

Jithin G. Krishnan
Senior Research Fellow, email: 222104001@smail.iitpkd.ac.in
ORCiD
Jithin obtained his post-graduate degrees in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), and joined the CCQS Group in January, 2021, as a Junior Research Fellow. He successfully moved on to become a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Physics, IIT Palakkad, in March, 2023. He is exploring the interesting field of entanglement in quantum many-body systems, focussing specifically on the measurement-based quantification of entanglement in star network of spins.

Harikrishnan KJ
Prime-Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF), email: 222204002@smail.iitpkd.ac.in
ORCiD
Harikrishnan obtained his post-graduate degrees in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), and joined the CCQS Group in February, 2021, as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB SRG. He converted to a regular JRF in the Department of Physics, IIT Palakkad, in January 2022, and also won the Prime-Minister's Research Fellowship for the December 2022 round in lateral entry. He successfully presented his research proposal in October, 2023, and is now pursuing research in characterization of topological quantum codes in the presence of perturbations.

Chandrima B. Pushpan
Junior Research Fellow, email: 222204004@smail.iitpkd.ac.in
ORCiD
Chandrima sucessfully completed her Master's in Physics from the Department of Physics, IIT Palakkad, and joined the MSc-PhD dual degree program in February, 2022. Her main area of study is the implementation of quantum protocols in quantum many-body systems in the strong-coupling limit, and she is currently conducting research on the strongly-coupled 2D isotropic Heisenberg model.
